Ecocriticism

The relationship of man with nature is a common theme of 

all writers from ancient time till the present age. Kalidasa, 

Shakespeare, Wordsworth and Hardy are some of the 

writers who have presented nature in its various Moods. 

Ecocriticism is the study of relationship between literature and physical environment. It also investigates how humans and the natural world represent in literature.

As a broad approach, Ecocriticism has many other designations including 'green Studies', 'ecopoetics' and 'environmental literary criticism'.

IC Analysis

Immediate Constituent Analysis or IC analysis is a method of analyzing sentence structure. This sentence analysis introduced by Leonard Bloomfield in 1933 and further developed by Rulon Wells and Zelling Harris. 

In this analysis, a sentence is break down to further constituents until it gets final morpheme.

It breaks down sentences into its smallest meaningful constituents.

These is an important structural analysis. Though it has so many limitations, it is considered as a system of dividing sentences in to smallest meaningful units.
