Hridayam is a Malayalam movie directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, the celebrated musician, screen writer and actor. It was produced under Marryland productions. It is nice feel good drama with a vivid, imaginative and soul stirring direction. It gives a clear picture of campus life.
The movie talks about the life of Arun, role played by Pranav Mohanlal, and His emotional journey as carefree bachelor days in engineering college. He falls in love with college sweetheart Darshana at the first sight.after a series of struggle between them led to their breakup. Finally he got married Nithya,role played by Kalyani Priyadarshana. Eventually he goes to mature phase of his life.
Hirdyam is not a new story. But the hand of Vineeth shreenivasan make a beautiful nostalgic canvas of romance with high quality music chores. Here Arun plays the role of a typical malayalee engineering student at Chennai. Ragging, love, heartbreak all at once bring back the memories to those who feel it.
Hesham Abdul Vahab is the music director of the movie. All the songs and background music are awesome and heart touching. Especially the song ' Dharsana and Unakka Munthiri' have stolen the heart Malayalalee Music lovers.
As a youngster, Pranav Mohanlal's acting was amazing and the plot by Vineeth shreenivasan was stunning. Vineeth has utilized Pranav Mohanlal’s talent well.
Leading female actresses are Kalyani Priyadarshan and Dharsana Rejendran. They also performed path breaking roles respectively.
